Journals I have been Inspired to Create

Have you ever had an idea and wanted to make it into a reality? I did and I have. I was looking for a garden planting journal for when I begin my garden. Mostly because of my memory problem I find it hard to remember how I started with plants i.e. from seed, plugs or transplants, let alone where I got them from or what they are called, especially flowers, really not good at remembering their names. So having checked out the available journals they all seemed to be missing something so I decided to create my own. Below you can see one of the Garden Planting Journals I created. I actually published two as I just could not decide which cover I liked best so used both and if you click on the one shown below for further information it will take you to images of both covers. One, the poppies, I found on Upsplash and loved it, the other is one of my own pastel pieces, Squash, which I also love.

I was also looking for a way to record my vegan/plant based recipes so that I could remember where they came from, any alteration with ingredients - mainly when I just didn’t have them all - and what I used instead. So the next time I went to make the same recipe I would be able to check what had worked and what did not. So from this I was inspired to create My Plant Based Recipe Journal.

My next journal I am very excited about and love the way it has turned out. My Art Journal. I used two of my own pieces of artwork for the cover, one on the front and the other on the back and love the way they look. Inside I put together all of the things I needed to record in order for me to identify each piece created.
